Empire

Eek

Eek was the working title of a track I did back in 2004 with help from my old friend Aengus Rathbone.

In February 2022 Eek saw new life and was picked up, reworked and released with the super talented Leven Kali and my old friend Robin Hannibal.

Kiss Me, Never

Kiss Me, Never by Anna Eline Friis-Rasmussen premieres at the 2022 CPH:DOX festival.

The film takes place in Beirut. When considering instruments for the score I searched for sounds that weren’t linked to any specific culture or musical tradition. I ended up using two plastic tubes, a length of rope, a Glockenspiel and a microphone.

Andreas Odbjerg

Andreas asked me to write Gear for his debut album Hjem Fra Fabrikken (currently no. 1 on the Danish album chart) He had a clear Burt Bacharach reference and thought it could work well as an album opener. It features La Classe Moyenne and I brought in my favourite artist Aku on background vocals.

Bionic

Bionic is off the Subs album that I never released. It features Xia Liu on Guzheng.

I always wanted to do an arrangement for the Guzheng. It’s pentatonic so we had to record in layers of different tunings to get the chords right.

Goodnight (Version)

Another version of Goodnight from Subs. I think this was the one I was going with for the album
